OK, So what’s the story?

Well the first ever (!) album that we produced at Biggroove records was our funky house compilation album, vol 1-basically a mixture of EKA and Indiscretion early favourites and mixes. It was a great opportunity to get these tracks all in the same place as well as include a couple of tracks that have never been released before. If you want that classic funky house, all-year summer feel-then Funky house vol1 is for you. Funky House Vol1

Biggroove records now has a new look website, easier to find things, more news, trax and (very soon) a chance to take part in competitions.  Producer Ekow Armah is pleased to be working with some new remixers: Mike Bosch (aka Dutch Pitch) and the Teo brothers. They join Biggroove records in house remixers: The Diamond Geezers and  the Luvva Boyz. You will be able to checkout their sounds on EKA’s forthcoming release: U Know.  So what is the plan for 2012? Producer Ekow Armah had this to say-2012 will be the year that my projects EKA and Indiscretion come into their own. Each band will release its long awaited debut album. So do expect some great music picking up from where we left off in 2011. I think we were a bit too quiet on the social media front, so we will be doing a bit more. We really want the whole world to know that we have a very funky compilation album available (no household should be without it!!). We really want to share what we have been doing with people from around the globe. So we will be exploring how we can collect more of your names and emails-just so that we can keep you up to date with all that we are doing. As a label and in order for us to continue , we will be looking at ways for YOU to help us fund raise for the label and in return YOU could get a slice of the label pie -yum yum! (more of that shortly). I nearly forgot! I have a solo track out soon called Summer Dream Symphony, a dance instrumental that I hope that you like and support
